About Brugal 1888 Rum

Brugal began in the Dominican Republic but lately they've been gaining ground in Spain and the United States. Furthermore, it's the third brand on the international rum market and the third brand on the european market. Brugal was founded by the Spaniard Andrés Brugal Montaner, who emigrated to Santiago de Cuba, where he learnt how to make rum, and later settled down in the Dominican Republic.
Ron Brugal 1888 is made by a double distilling and a double ageing in white American oak barrels and barrels used to age sherry.
